Bar None is a venue with a varied past and bright future. The space was zoned for commercial and light-industrial use in the 20’s when now trendy Yaletown was a warehouse district. Beginning in the 1980’s, the space was converted to a dance club, music was added and it started its journey to becoming one of Vancouver most legendary nightclubs. In 2007 it was purchased by The Donnelly Group. In addition to this great location, they also own and/or manage a dozen other bars and clubs around the Lower Mainland. They specialize in stylish environments with progressive entertainment and casual atmospheres.

Refine & Design’s scope of work for the latest round of upgrades included adding a sushi and sake bar complete with a complex new backlit floating ceiling to differentiate the space from its surroundings. Unique lighting features like the 800 independently hung light bulbs over the booth seating were added. A new VIP bar in the back of the club was added, as was a new DJ booth. The installation of a massive graphic light box at the front entrance, addition of wood flooring in the VIP area and extensive electrical service for the new LED lights and chandeliers are just some of the features that took place in this very detailed renovation.
