Aura Nightclub opened in July 2014 to great acclaim and we’re proud to have been selected as the general contractor for the renovation. Located on Granville Street in the heart of the entertainment district, this project was a creative collaboration between the owner, our team and the various sub-trades we worked with.
Envisioning a sumptuous upscale environment, the design was to have no hard edges, only curving walls that flowed into the ceiling. Working with some very challenging materials, we installed everything from red leather panels with a crocodile skin texture to 3’ x 10’ mirrored panels. All on curved surfaces! State-of-the-art LED panels were used to highlight bars and the DJ booth and dance floor.
