We completely renovated this home in 2006 inside and out.
Then in 2016 the home owners wanted us back to completely renovate the top floor suite to accommodate their growing family! We needed to add a 3rd bedroom & bathroom for relatives or nanny when they stay. This family also enjoyed urban loft living and wanted to introduce this feel to their existing home.
So we vaulted the ceiling, added large skylights, created a lofted area as a “flex space” to increase space for guests for visitors or their Nanny. Also added a bathroom upstairs complete with a large custom shower under an 4ft x 8ft skylight! To access the lofted area we built a custom floating staircase to give it a modern loft feel. The kitchen is the best part because we added a one of a kind floating countertop with a slide out table made from a solid piece of black walnut. Simply stunning & innovative!
