Graveley Street House

About This Project

This lovely heritage house is located off Commercial Drive in Vancouver. The renovation budget was $360,000 with the work being completed in 2007. The house was completely redone, with new foundation, new electrical and plumbing and the addition of sprinkler system in every room for fire protection. The design maintained the traditional heritage feel while adding in new modern elements. The interior work included installing the latest energy-efficient systems and a green roof was added over the carport. The kitchen design includes top quality stainless steel appliances and fan hood, built-in butcherblock and chocolate-coloured marble countertops. White subway tiles and dark wood flooring perfectly balance the space, keeping it appropriate to the era while making it modern and functional. The bathroom on the main level was also completely redone while new lighting, flooring and painting were added throughout both levels. The details of this house can be viewed by appointment.
